SIR — I would like to express my appreciation of Martyn Snell's letter (Free Press January 26) regarding the use of car parks in the centre of Minehead.
If M Snell's suggestions were put into practice, Minehead would be a much less congested town and much more visitor friendly.
At times I have spoken to strangers who were desperately looking for a space in the Regal car park. Many of them had no knowledge of the space in North Road, nor were they aware that Alexandra Road car park was so near. More instruction at the Regal car park would be helpful.
Warden Road is a nightmare with workers taking up much of the space. Free tickets for Alexandra park would relieve the problem.
