TEN years of ‘singing, laughter, and good times’ is being celebrated by Minehead Street Choir in 2024.
Last week, members sang for their supper during a celebratory meal and sing-song in the town’s United Reformed Church Hall, in Irnham Road.
Founder Nigel Neill said: “We first met at the rugby club in March, 2014, and have been making a noise ever since.
“It has been such a wonderful ride. So many good friends, gentle relaxed souls, sharing our time together.

The choir, which meets in the church hall on Thursdays at 7 pm, has also raised thousands of pounds for local and international charities during the decade.
Its next performance in Dunster Tithe Barn on March 23 to raise money for local food banks is already sold out.
