Pupils at Minehead First School had an ‘egg-cellent’ time when they took part in an Easter bonnet parade.
Headteacher Mr Evans said: “We decided to open the parade up to the whole school due to many children missing out last Easter. Although we were unable to do it all together, we managed to do it virtually with Year 1 leading the way in the main hall. The whole school then had a virtual assembly with Lynn and Jess from the Exmoor Youth Project.
“We were so impressed with the efforts of the children and parents. They have all been amazing over the last 12 months, fully supporting the school through the challenging times and for that we are very grateful.”
After the assembly, Lynn and Jess judged the bonnets choosing two winners from each year group. The winners, pictured (from left) were Harry, Romani, Zain, Evelina, Isla, Poppy, Imogen, Bailey, Lauren (front) and Lily (back).
