Minehead and District Lions Club raised a total of £2,430 for local children’s charities and good causes through its annual Easter Egg raffle.

The Lions thanked the following businesses for taking part – the Valiant Soldier, Exford, Carhampton Stores, the Northfield Hotel, Minehead Rugby Club, Minehead Social Club, the Hobby Horse, the Britannia Inn, Kildare Lodge, Bar 21, Coaster Coffee, the Old Ship Aground, Lidl’s , Williton Co-Op, the Railway Inn, the Bicknoller Inn, Home Farm Holiday Centre, Pebbles Bar, the Lion at Timberscombe, the Driftwood Cafe in Blue Anchor and Costcutter in Porlock.
The club also thanked all the residents, visitors and friends who supported the raffles and congratulated the winners.
