SIR — In this day and age when it is so easy to find fault with so much it's delightful to be able to 'throw a bouquet' to the Minehead Hospital and the wonderful, dedicated team they have there. Recently I spent considerable time at the bedside of my very ill aunt (Daisy Hall). As I had flown from Australia and had heard many negative stories about the hospitals and conditions in the UK, I must confess to being concerned. However, those concerns were overcome within minutes of stepping into that facility. Everyone at the hospital reflected friendliness, openness, care and concern in every matter and I continued to be impressed with the meals and the wonderful cleanliness. Having spent considerable time at the hospital bed of my cerebral palsy grandson in one of the top Brisbane (Australia) hospitals with a wonderful reputation, I can honestly say that the Minehead Hospital and staff, by comparison, exceeded anything I have experienced here in Australia. Minehead, you can be proud of the wonderful facility and the dedicated committed team you have there. You are in good hands! Chris Gimblett , Yaraka, Queensland, Australia.
