Minehead saw a military invasion on Saturday when a celebration of wartime heritage was hosted by Exmoor National Park Authority and the National Trust. Vehicles dating back to World War Two paraded through the town then drove up North Hill, where visitors could find out about a secret radar station set up there to monitor shipping and aircraft during the war. The event was part of the first ever Exmoor Historic Buildings Festival.
