A 33-year-old man is due in court after being charged with the murder of 30-year-old Lewis Smith in Wellington.
Police said Nicholas Stutt, of Laburnum Street, Taunton, had been remanded in custody and was due to appear before Bristol Magistrates Court on Friday.
A statement from Avon and Somerset Police said: "A 33-year-old man is due in court after has been charged with murder.
"The charge follows the death of 30-year-old Lewis Smith at an address in Jurston Lane, Wellington on the morning of Tuesday 7 February.

The statement is the first confirmation from the police of the name of the victim, who was found seriously injured from a single stab wound at a property in Jurston Lane.
He died at the scene despite the efforts of paramedics to save him and police then launched a murder inquiry. They made two arrests, including a woman who was later released without charge.
