MINEHEAD’S dedicated Shop Loyalty Card Scheme has been given a new lease of life with a new face at the helm – Minehead crafts-woman Lynsey Yeandle (pictured).
Lynsey runs a jewellery, arts and crafts outlet in the town market and has already been out and about visiting some the 110 local shops which originally signed-up to the scheme.
The chamber of commerce-led initiative will have been up and running for two years in October, with Exmoor Printers sponsoring the ticket printing to keep costs to a minimum.
“Town centre shoppers and shop keepers need to join in the fun of this project,” said Lynsey.

Once they have collected ten stamps they are eligible to be entered in a monthly prize draw.
The scheme is run by Minehead Chamber of Trade, Minehead Tourism and Business Association, community group Revive Minehead and West Somerset Council.
Last month’s winners were - £25 voucher Miss P Harrison of Northcliffe House, £15 voucher Mrs Tunesi of Falklands Rise, £10 voucher Barbara Seacombe of Mallard Close.
