THE Lyn Valley Classic was held for a second year with the addition of classic rock and folk on the Saturday night.

I Floyd, a Pink Floyd tribute band, were a sell out and the Fabulous Folk entertained a packed crowd in the Crown until the early hours of Sunday morning.

There were more than 200 vehicles at the event, including Massey Ferguson tractors, Austins, Aston Martins, MGBs, Porsches, Ferraris, a very rare Talbot and a 1920s fire engine which the local fire brigade tested in Lynton.

Motorcyclist Joe Baker performed trials exhibitions on the beach, the Ilfracombe lifeboat gave a display, there was line dancing on the green, and cubs and scouts along with North Devon Theatres brought a Wind in the Willows theme to the day.

A Tesla all-electric car and BMW´s I8 attracted a lot of attention, as did rally cars and a mix of ’Fast Fords’.

A Ferrari tour brought lots of noise and glamour, and that was followed by a Minehead Motor Club tour arriving at lunchtime with a mix of classic and sports cars.
