TOMORROW’S Minehead town centre cycle races - the first for more than 20 years - look set to feature a good number of Minehead’s finest riders as well as entries from across the South West and beyond.

The most popular event of the day should be the Grand Ride for All, when anyone with a roadworthy bike or scooter can ride with the racers and other regular riders around the circuit in a 15-minute mass ride. Electric bikes welcome.

This could attract as many as 200 riders and should be quite a spectacle! Riders should assemble at 1.30pm in the North Road car park.
