The Minehead and District Lions Club would like to say a big thank you to Santa and his elves, including the chief elf Barbara and young elves Elizabeth and Toby for travelling around West Somerset collecting Christmas present lists from the children.

The club would also like to thank Tesco, Lidl and Morrison’s for allowing us to set up our sleigh in their car parks.

Thanks also go to Dunster by Candlelight organisers, Porlock Late Night Shopping organisers, Minehead Christmas Festival organisers and the Old Hospital for their ongoing support for our sleigh collections.

We raised over £2,000, including £481.62 taken outside the Old Hospital.

Finally, we thank the people of West Somerset for their generous donations.
