THE third annual ‘Big Blue Photo’ will be taken in the Bell Inn, Watchet, tomorrow, Sunday March 1, to raise funds for Elliot’s Touch.
The idea is to get as many people showing their support for the local charity by wearing something blue.
Everyone is invited to join Steve and Caron Page along with Paul and Gillian Taplin and staff from 2.30pm for the photo.
In 2018 the Beast from the East tried its hardest to ruin the first get together.
Due to the snow, roads to Watchet were impassable, but those that could managed to reach the pub for the Big Blue Photo and together raised £620.
In 2019, Storm Freya made an untimely visit to Watchet, but it did not stop more people attending and more money, £710, being raised.
This year it is hoped there will be no such disruption and even more money can be raised with the help of a tombola, a 50/50 raffle, guessing the name of a teddy bear and a sale of cakes.
