BRAVE staff at builders' merchants Travis Perkins were busy on Friday trying not to smudge their lipstick and making sure their mascara did not run - all in the name of charity.
Four male workers donned a variety of dresses and wigs as well as stockings and suspenders for the daring stunt in aid of the NSPCC.
Their efforts raised more than £300 through sponsorship and donations, although they did have to put up with a few awkward glances as they went about their work in the Station Yard outlet, on Williton's industrial estate.
All of the Travis Perkins branches throughout Somerset and the rest of the country took part in different fundraising events for the NSPCC.
