Churches Together In Minehead are holding the first of their Lenten Lunches on Friday, with the money raised going to the Exmoor Youth Project and the Refugee Project.

All the lunches will be served at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Townsend Road, but each is organised by a different church in the town.

They take place each Friday through to April 3, between 12.30 and 1.30pm, and a lunch costs £4. All are welcome.

The first lunch, on February 28, is being arranged by Alcombe Methodists. Organisers of the remainder are March 6 Sacred Heart, March 13 St Andrew’s Minehead, March 20 St Michael’s, Alcombe, March 27 Minehead Methodists, and April 3 Sacred Heart.
