WILLITON branch of the Royal British Legion held a recruitment coffee morning at the Parish Office on Saturday, March 7.

The event was supported by county chairman of the Royal British Legion (RBL) Major Robert McDonald.

The intention was to raise the profile of the local branch, to explain the work that the RBL does to support Armed Forces veterans of all ages and to encourage younger people in particular to join the organisation.

Tea, coffee and cake were on offer and a tombola stall was also available.

A number of people dropped in to the event, which was run by members of the branch.
