Yeovil MP David Laws paid his respects to the Queen Mother with members of the Yeovil branch of the Royal British Legion on Monday this week.
The group passed through Westminster Hall to witness the Lying in State of the Queen Mother's coffin.
Mr Laws said: "I was pleased to be able to pay my respects to the Queen Mother with members of the Royal British Legion.
"I know that many members of the Legion have particularly strong ties with the Queen Mother, and I wanted to give this opportunity to local members of the British Legion to pay their own tribute."
Representing the Royal British Legion were Steve and Glenys Salisbury, Jeff and Ada Perks and Avril Cousins.
Mr Salisbury commented: "It was a great privilege to take part in this historical event and be able to pay our respects. I was honoured to represent other members of the Legion who were not able to attend."
Before repaying their respects to the Queen Mother, the five Legion representatives were given a tour of the House of Commons by Mr Laws and their memorable day finished with tea on the terrace of the House of Commons.
