SIR — We recently discovered that Royal Mail had, without notice, changed our latest collection time at the local postbox from 4.45pm to about 10am. We believe this is entirely unacceptable, especially as we do not get cheaper rates to compensate for their appalling service. Apparently they intend to do the same thing at many rural post boxes.
