YOUNGSTERS from Watchet's Knights Templar First School are pictured with the array of produce collected for their annual harvest festival.
Pupils marched under rain clouds to the celebration service at the town's Methodist Church, where they read poetry, sang hymns and and offered their thoughts on the importance of healthy food.
Local farmers and fisherman were given a mention, while the children's parents were thanked for providing nutritious food.
But the youngsters also thought about farmers in poor countries whose harvests may have failed through excessive rainfall and the impact of this on the lives of thousands of people.
The celebration was attended by a total of 30 parents.
The Rev Jane Sperring, who conducted the service, said: "I was delighted to welcome all the children and staff from the school to our church and I was impressed by the amount of food and money donated."
Tins and packets of food donated by families were sent to Minehead's Hope Centre, while fresh fruit and vegetables went to the Phoenix Centre in Watchet.
A total of £44 was donated to the Methodist Fellowship Relief Fund, which will be used to help children in Cambodia.
