THE weather was perfect for the sports held at Watchet's Knights Templar First School on June 27.

Some 200 parents turned up for the morning infants' sports and around 100 supported the junior sports in the afternoon.

The children excelled, giving their best as always whether running in the Little Red Riding Hood races (pictured) or showing their skills at hockey or swimming.

And in the long distance race, more than 50 children volunteered to run the 800 metre circuit.

School chairman Penny Gibbons presented gold, silver and bronze badges to those who had come first, second and third.
