HUSBAND and wife team Elaine and Jeff Floyd will be stepping out on an epic 190-mile walk in aid of forces charity Help for Heroes.
Elaine, an extra care scheme manager for Magna at Silvermead in Alcombe, and postman Jeff aim to walk coast to coast from St Bees on the West coast of Cumbria to Robin Hood Bay on the East coast of North Yorkshire in September.
They aim to complete their mammoth task in just under two weeks, setting off on September 7 and finishing on September 20.
The couple hope to raise at least £2,000 for Help for Heroes as their son and a niece both serve in the Armed Forces.

"Although we have a son and a niece in the forces, we are doing this walk for all the forces personnel as they do a fantastic job," Elaine said.
She added: "We have been building up our walks at weekends and have got up to 20 miles, with smaller walks one or twice in the evenings."
