SIR — Re the regeneration of Minehead, there are so many bright ideas, bits and pieces here and there, and now there are schemes afoot for Culvercliffe - watch out, there's a developer about!
How soon will it be before a builder suggests a couple of houses and, as compensation, offer to make a nice little park.

To improve Minehead we could relocate the industrial estate. The present location restricts its growth and is too close to the main part of town and tourist facilities.

This will free the present land for housing and more small shops.
One suggestion would be somewhere between Minehead and Carhampton. Minehead has a reputation as a town of quality and we would do well to safeguard this.
