MINEHEAD Panto People’s annual pantomime – Hansel and Gretel – opens at the Regal Theatre on Friday (January 10).

A traditional panto, written by Alan Frayn, it includes a host of wonderful characters – Bluebell the kind fairy, Nightshade the evil witch, woodland sprites, friendly animals, nasty crows and gypsies.
The magical tale follows Hansel and Gretel through amazing scenes, including to a circus, and, of course, to the delicious gingerbread house.
The show runs until Saturday, January 18. Performances start at 7.30pm and 2.30pm on different days. Further details – and more pictures – can be found in today’s Free Press.
