The nurses and staff at Williton Community Hospital Meadow Ward Stroke Recovery Centre celebrated International Nurses Day with a meal and cake.

An Indian meal was cooked by Williton restaurant The Bengal Spice. The staff especially enjoyed the onion bhaji – made to their own recipe.

And they tucked into a bespoke hand-made cake from Chloe’s Creative Cakes decorated with a nurse’s uniform.

International Nurses Day falls on May 12 – Florence Nightingale’s birthday.
