THE most unlikely contestant in the latest series of I’m A Celebrity . . . Get Me Out Of Here!, which starts tomorrow (Sunday) is perhaps 77-year-old Stanley Johnson, Winsford-based writer and environmentalist.

Stanley, father of Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson, is one of ten celebrities who will be living rough and coping with the infamous Bushtucker Trials.

But he admits he has never watched the show - "it’s totally new to me" - but he is determined to win: “I don’t think I’m dreading anything and I’m ready to give it a go.

“I come from a long line of Exmoor farmers and it’s a pretty tough life on the moors so I should be OK! The idea of getting away from everything sounds great. I know you have to survive on a diet of basic rations and I’m looking forward to losing some weight. Half a stone would be fine.”

The show launches on ITV at 9pm tomorrow (Sunday, November 19).
