KILVE'S poor run in Division One reached a new low with a humiliating eight-wicket defeat away to promotion-chasing Street.
Asked to bat first on a firm pitch, Kilve's innings began with some promise but collapsed dismally to 81 all out.
Opener Stuart Lloyd was caught in the slips for 10 off the pace bowling of Higgs before Shaun Mitchell joined Glen Manchip to build a 49-run partnership.
With the score on 60 in the 16th over Manchip was bowled by Higgs for 18 and Mitchell followed shortly after when he was caught towards the mid-wicket boundary for 30.

Only Dinger Larcombe (10) and Paul Cuff (6no) emerged with any credit as the innings closed on 81 in the 29th over, Higgs taking 7-26.
In reply, the Street batsmen dominated with openers Peck (25) and Pope (51) reaching 72 off just ten overs before Manchip gained some reward for Kilve by dismissing both in quick succession.
Street reached victory in 12 overs, and after this heavy defeat Kilve must be thankful for the early season victories which should keep them out of a relegation battle.
Kilve: 81 (S Mitchell 30, G Manchip 18, M Higgs 7-26, A Bartlett 3-6).
Street: 82-2 (M Pope 51, D Peck 25, G Manchip 2-18).
