I know that your readers will be annoyed with me for writing again about rubbish on the roadside of the A39 but it is still just as bad - although I am pleased to note that the mattress in the layby at West Quantoxhead has disappeared.
However, there is now another problem which is looming large – huge signs put up on the verges of villages.
Two vast ones have appeared in Holford advertising a caravan sale at Doniford Bay. I ask you, how far are we from Doniford Bay? About five miles I should think.
We live in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and these ghastly sights are just that, ghastly sights.

So, come along people of West Somerset - use you voice to stop this flagrant disregard of our right to live peacefully in this green and pleasant county.
