WILLITON’S community hospital is holding an open day for nurses in a bid to recruit much-needed staff.
So she is taking the unusual step of throwing open the hospital doors to prospective employees.
“We are really keen to recruit nurses passionate about delivering high quality care,” she said. “At Minehead and Williton Community Hospitals, we provide the sort of nursing that our communities are proud of - and we really do invest in our nurses.

“We have re-furbished wards providing a convivial, home-from-home atmosphere where a highly trained team of nurses, therapists and local GP’s are all dedicated to supporting patients during their hospital stay.”
