SOME 94 members of the Exmoor farming community came together for a Christmas celebration and look-back over 2017 in the Music Room, Woolhanger.

The Exmoor Hill Farming Network’s (EHFN) fourth annual Christmas Review included a three-course meal, a review of network activities, a talk and fundraising draw and auction of table decorations.

Guest speakers were Matt and Pip Smith, Farmers Weekly sheep farmer of the year 2017 and sheep shearing world record holder 2016.

The EHFN is an information and support ’hub’ for Exmoor’s hill farmers, bringing them information, demonstrations, training, grants and opportunities.

It started four years ago and is funded by the Exmoor National Park Authority and The Prince’s Countryside Fund and well supported by Exmoor’s farming community.
