SIR — We have searched in vain for railway-owned brambles and undergrowth at Seward Way level crossing referred to in the letter from E E J Nash (Free Press July 26).
However, we did find some growing on the public footpath and in the best spirit of public service, one of our volunteers has cut them back.
Incidentally, the volunteer concerned retired to Minehead and devotes a great deal of time to our railway. He claims never to have been more contented.
We have opportunities for many people with time and a desire to do something worthwhile. Please look in at the station or give us a call.
