VALENTINE'S Day may have been and gone but Exmoor resident Caroline Harding is hoping a Free Press reader can help mend the broken heart of a dearly loved feathered friend.
Ten-year-old Embden goose Morris has been beside himself with grief following the sudden death of his mate Lola on Monday night.
He spent the whole of Tuesday stood by her body and has not stopped honking in grief since.
Unfortunately for Morris, it is the second time fate has struck him with a particularly cruel hand.

Caroline, who lives at Luckwell Bridge, told the Free Press: "We swapped Derek for Lola and they were absolutely devoted to each other.
"She was a bit quiet on Monday and we found her dead on Tuesday.
"He's been honking away ever since and we desperately need to find him a new mate - he's not fussy, any old goose will do.
"It would be lovely if someone out there could help the course of true love."
