In February I sent you an email about trying to contact people whom I may have known when I lived in Alcombe before my emigration to New Zealand.

I have had a few replies, more than I hoped for, and it’s been really great having memories rekindled.

I‘ve always tried to keep abreast of local news from home via the Free Press web page and have enjoyed getting that contact. Keep up the good work.

I thank you for publishing my letter - it’s has been great hearing from old friends and making new acquaintances.
