A WET and windy afternoon reduced numbers - but failed to spoil the fun - of a Hallowe'en procession organised by Watchet Carnival Committee.
Entries were only slightly down on last year and all those taking part were admired by the organisers for the "wonderful efforts" put into their costumes.
Queenie Couling and Anne Murphy judged the two age groups and the best pumpkin face, and Watchet Town Crier Alec Danby added his voice to the spirit of the occasion.
The procession went through the town to Watchet Football Club where a disco was held.
The committee would like to thank all who took part, their parents, all helpers and, in particular, organiser Sue Coles.
