HARTWOOD House gardens, in Crowcombe Heathfield, will be open in aid of the Taunton and Somerset branch of Samaritans for the second Sunday running tomorrow (August 19).
The strong colours of the rhododendrons and camellias have gone but have been replaced by the softer colours of a wide range of hydrangeas.
Despite the drought, the shrubs are looking green and healthy although the lawn is quite parched.
Visitors are welcome to wander round the garden and the four acres of woodland paths, to enjoy the cream teas and have a go at the raffle.
