being made possible for children as Covid restrictions relax and CLOWNS – Creating Learning Opportunities In WesterN Somerset – starts to expand its services.

Some of our sessions are returning to towns and villages with extra precautions to keep them children and adults. Information on all of sessions are posted weekly on CLOWNS’ social media pages.

Wild Outdoor Wednesdays restarted on September 9 with an outdoor walk at Webbers Post. These outdoor group sessions involve a mixture of activities including pond dipping, den building and walks in various locations. Two sessions are offered, from 10.30am to 11.30am and 1.30pm to 2.30pm, each Wednesday.

Tumbling Toddlers is restarting on Thursday (September 24). There will be two of the themed mobile soft play sessions per day, from one location to allow time to clean equipment thoroughly between sessions.

The sessions – 10am to 11am and 1.30pm to 2.30pm – are extremely limited to ensure room for social distancing and a safe space for children to play.

CLOWNS’ resource centre will also be opening up again soon. It will be a strictly phone and collect service, every Monday between 9.30am and 4.30pm from early October. Mixed bags of scraps and limited toys from our toy library will be available.
