The English results also showed a marked improvement, up to 74 per cent, but the triumph this year was the science assessments which yielded a 100 per cent success rate for pupils. In the two previous years, the school had achieved 97 per cent.
Headteacher Steve Ford praised the teachers for the continued improvement of the school.
"The science results in particular show this to be a fully inclusive school as all children including pupils with special needs achieving level 4 success," he said.
"The children have worked hard and been well supported by parents and families. The culture of high expectations and high achievement is really catching on in this small rural middle school."
