FOXES Academy’s learners, staff and parents gathered at Minehead’s Regal Theatre on Friday, December 15, for awards and to reflect on a year of change and triumph.

Repairs to A396 Cutcombe Hill moved to nighttime work to avoid Snowdrop Valley clashPrincipal Tracey Clare-Gray spoke to the audience of 300 about how the students had achieved so much for others by serving 280 local people at Foxes Hotel’s Christmas functions and also through their fundraising for good causes.
“We are incredibly proud of our young people. Despite the daily challenges they face through their own disabilities, they are an outstanding example how we can all contribute to our community and to society overall," said Tracey.
The top awards this year went to William Mackenzie Smith as the most outstanding learner, Stephen Lethaby who came second and Miranda Bentley, third.
Among other things, Foxes learners staged a drama, A Christmas Carol (pictured).
