New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Somerset’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Smoulder & Scorch Ltd, at 60 High Street, Street was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 5.

And Efes, at 53 Station Road, Taunton, Somerset was given a score of four on May 11.

It means that of Somerset's 934 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 774 (83%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
