SOUTH West Fishing For Life reached its ninth anniversary this month – and found plenty to celebrate.
The organisation, founded on Wimbleball Lake, helps people who have experienced or are living with breast cancer.
It began on Wimbleball Lake in 2008 but now has eight groups across the country with two more expected to be launched by 2018. SWFF helps move on with their lives, build new friendships and learn a new hobby – fishing – which boosts wellbeing.
Andy Parsons, director of South West Lakes Trust, a supporter since 2008, is pictured presenting a trophy to a member, Geraldine, for the level of her achievement since joining SWFF.
