THE crowds flocked to Minehead Hospital fete on Saturday, helping to raise £1,240 for the League of Friends. The money will be put towards a fund to buy a permanent, ceiling-fixed hoist to make life easier for both patients and staff at the hospital. The fete included the usual range of fundraising stalls including a tombola, a cake stall, bottle stall and plant sale. Organisers the League of Friends of Minehead Hospital thanked everyone who supported the event.
