WILLITON has a new centenarian – Olive Richards – who claims the secret to living longer is “good food, country farm life and hard work”.

Family and friends joined Olive at Croft House care home to celebrate reaching the grand age of 100 on Wednesday, April 3.

She was born and raised in Heasley Mill in Devon and went into service after finishing school.

Olive met her husband while working as a housekeeper and they had three children.

Olive also has three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
