FOUR households in Minehead, Watchet and Timberscombe have been able to get their dream home by swapping with each other.

Magna Housing’s home moves advisor Grace Goddard made it possible for the house-swaps, giving advice on grants and being there every step of the way.

Jade Webber (pictured), from Timberscombe, was key to setting off the chain of events: “We were living in a house that was too small for us so we were desperate to move to somewhere larger,” she said.

“I was prepared to move to another town or village, but when we had the chance of a house in Timberscombe we couldn’t believe our luck. I grew up here and I still have friends and family here. It’s a lovely place to bring kids up.

“Magna have been really great to us. They’ve fixed any problems really quickly and we really like being able to do so much online.”

The house that Jade left in Timberscombe was taken by Tess Bruckner, who wanted to move from her three-bedroom house in Minehead.
