STUDENTS who have mastered the internet received official recognition for their achievements at a special presentation in Minehead.
A total of 15 learners gained their European Computer Driving Licence qualification.
Some of them achieved level one, in which they learned about email and the internet, while others competed the level two course, giving them skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
The certificates were handed out at an open day last week staged by Somerset Skills and Learning, which ran the courses at its Minehead centre.
The event featured displays and demonstrations on courses ranging from family history to woodcarving, as well as information about traineeships, apprenticeships, GCSE maths and English and access to higher education.
