HI-DE-HI! star Su Pollard brings her show ‘Still Fully Charged’ to the Minehead Regal on Thursday, October 2, at 7.30 pm.
Su celebrates 50 years in show business in a one-woman variety show packed with songs, stories and much-loved characters.
In a flurry of costumes, props and live musical accompaniment, Su takes the audience through her career from the earliest days of auditions, to international TV successes.
Apart from Hi-de-Hi! and other hit TV series, Su has also appeared in 35 stage plays and musicals and more than 40 pantomimes.
A Regal spokesperson says: “Still Fully Charged shows why Su has become the national treasure she is today, with audiences describing her as ‘a powerhouse of a woman, just brilliant!’, ‘absolutely hilarious’, ‘fabulous, entertaining and amazing.’”

A comedy drama with a serious core Sorry, Baby (Cert 15) will be screened at the Regal on Tuesday, October 7, at 7.30 pm.
‘Sorry, Baby’ is the first feature film from actor-writer-director Eva Victor and is described as warm and funny as well as serious, and also “personal, playful, intimate and honest’.
In the movie, something terrible happened to Agnes but life goes on for everyone else. On the brink of an important milestone, Agnes realises how stuck she's been, in this bittersweet story of finding your way after your world comes crashing down.
Tickets for ‘Sorry, Baby’ cost £6 (£4 Regal Film Society members/students/ES40s) and may be booked in advance online and at the Regal box office (01643 706430), open Monday to Saturday 9.30 am to midday. The Regal bar will be open for refreshments from 7 pm.
