Angela Adair is the granddaughter of well-known Irish international cricketer R.E. Adair (1899-1902).
She was born into a family of animal lovers and, fascinated by the comical behaviour of the family pets, started writing short stories about animals, some of which were included in school publications and national animal magazines.
While living in Rayleigh, Essex, she was given two kittens whom she named Mog and Tom, and it was their amusing and comical antics which inspired her to write the first book of ‘Mog and Tom’ short stories, afterwards going on to write another three books.
‘Mog and Tom’s Kitten Capers: Book One’ is published by Austin Macauley Publishers for £7.99, ISBN: 9781398424401.
