Andrew Brown asks why we look at Trump as a pariah (Your Letters June 7). This leaves me astounded.
Whilst he sings the president’s praises, he seems to forget his awful record in office to date.
Trump took the US out of the Paris Agreement, thereby dealing a huge blow to efforts of fighting for the survival of our planet.
He pulled the US out of the Nuclear Iran Accord (which America had signed ) so that it is now probable that Iran will race to arm itself with nuclear weapons (it feels itself threatened by nuclear Israel, the US and the Saudis).

Council postpones A396 fatal coach crash road repairs project by a monthWhilst Trump has not invaded a country yet, he arms and supports Saudi Arabia in its war against Yemen. This is a war that has created the worst humanitarian crises in the world - millions of people are at starvation point and children are dying of malnutrition and of war-created diseases such as cholera.
Trump has often made comments supporting racist white supremacists in the US.
Trump has behaved disgracefully towards women, showing him to be a misogynist of the first order.
Trump is fully supporting and encouraging the extreme right wing government of Israel to completely dispossess Palestinians of their rightful entitlements. God knows the Palestinians have suffered the most awful injustices in the last 70 years because of Israel expansionist policies.
One could go on endlessly as to why this president is thought to be pariah by most democracy-loving people.
