LITTLE Vikings Nursery in Watchet has been rated ‘good’ in all areas after a recent Ofsted inspection.
The report rated the Liddymore Road nursery’s performance for children from birth to two years old, as good in its outcomes for children; in personal development, behaviour and welfare; in quality of teaching, learning and assessment; and in effectiveness of the leadership and management.
The Ofsted inspection found that the staff were caring and knowledgeable, and the children are confident to explore because they feel safe and secure at the nursery. They learn good communication and language skills from an early age and enjoy numerous opportunities to be outside and active, and develop good physical skills.
“Children thoroughly enjoy being at the nursery,” the report said.
