CHILDREN from Watery Lane Preschool, in Minehead, had an ‘Italian Experience’ when they were invited to visit Fausto’s Italian Restaurant in the town.
Fausto set up everything they needed to make their own pizzas. He showed them how to make a base and then they made their own pizzas, choosing from a wide variety of toppings.
They watched Fausto – from a safe distance – as he placed their pizzas in his oven and were very excited when they could smell them cooking.
Afterwards, the children sat at the restaurant tables and tasted their creations.
Cherry Coward, pre-school manager, said: “It was a very memorable morning and the pre-school staff, children and their families would like to say a big “grazie mille” to Fausto for the time and trouble he took to give the children this amazing experience.”
