A GRUFFALO hand-drawn by his creator Julia Donaldson is among the magical attractions of St Peter’s School’s new library.
The castle-themed library was built by former teacher Matt Pegg and given a grand opening last Tuesday (March 27).
He returned to the school in Williton to cut the ribbon along with the School Council.
On display was a personal message from children’s picture book author Julia Donaldson along with her Gruffalo drawing
Headteacher Nigel Johnson said: “We wanted to make reading even more interesting. With the financial support from our PTA, we have made the library even more fun and engaging place.”
Children took part in special days to design further decoration including each class and house making their own shields which are on the outside of the castle.
