AN appeal has gone out for people to host Austrian students when they visit the area in July.

The Austrian Language School brings a party of students to West Somerset each year, and this year’s visit runs from July 15 to 30.

The school is looking for people who could offer accommodation to two students over that period.

“It is looking for homes that offer a warm welcome and understanding of young people away from home for possibly the first time,” said Ian Aldridge, of Williton, who is the host family organiser. “All expenses are met by the school.”
