Each one is a job lost

SIR — As both Morrison's and Tesco have introduced self-service checkouts, can we expect them to be replacing the remainder of their staff with androids?

Their workers are already wearing headsets.

Personally, I refuse to use these checkouts as each one represents a local job lost.

Any comments?
